End of the Season

I am sad to see the season end.  Al and I are very proud of all of the athletes!!  Great Season, except for the weather.  :( 
I will have all the stats for each person and your ribbons in the school office by the end of the week (if you haven't already gotten them).

Tuesday-HOME MEET
We would like to have a yearend Pizza Party Tuesday after the meet.  We thought it would be easier to get everyone together after the meet.  Parents and families are welcome.  We just ask that you let me know ASAP how many are coming and if families are coming, that you contribute $5 per family towards the cost of the Pizza.  Sorry for the late notice!  We just hope that more of you would be able to make it!  Please email or text me how many can make it, so I know how many pizzas to order.

Meet at Hampshire

Monday's meet at Hampshire has been rescheduled to Tuesday, April 26th. 

Next week will look like this:

Monday-NO SCHOOL-meet at Clinton.  Bus leaves from BEHIND the middle school, at 3 p.m.
Tuesday-Hampshire-bus leaves after school
Wednesday-Practice-4:30 pick up
Thursday-Meet at Genoa-bus leaves after school

They were calling for rain all week again next week, so please check this page daily to see if meets have been cancelled.

Wednesday

Our athletic director will make the call on the meet, tomorrow morning.  If he decides to cancel, it will be rescheduled for Thursday and we WILL have practice instead.  I will post as soon as I hear.

MEET CANCELED!!

Today's meet has been canceled.  We have also canceled practice because we can't go outside, and we were not sure if the kids would be able to get ahold of parents to get rides home.  For future reference, if a meet is canceled, we will have practice as usual.  Thank you!!

Week of April 18th

Monday-MEET at HAMPSHIRE.  Bus leaves after school.  Meet starts at around 4:15.
We will stop and eat at McDonalds on the way home.  Athletes will call for rides when we get in Belvidere, so you know about when to pick them up.  If they don't have a cell, they can use one of ours.

Next Tuesday is our first home meet of the season!  We need lots of help to make this run smoothly.  We need people to run timers (push a button really), score the high jump, long jump, disc, and shot,  and watch hand offs for relays.  If you are available to help that day, PLEASE email or text me ASAP so I can get this lined up!  I will do all I can to make sure you are able to watch your childs' event as well!  Thanks in advance.
